WB-Edu4Migration hosts two-day training of Trainers at AAB College

AAB College in Prishtina hosted the two-day Training of Trainers under the WB-Edu4Migration Project, funded by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ program. focused on developing micro-credential courses for Western Balkan university partners. The training was held on 17–18 November 2025 and brought together academic staff to build expertise in planning, designing, and evaluating micro-credentials.

Day 1 introduced participants to the conceptual foundations of micro-credentials, their characteristics, and their growing relevance in modern education. Sessions also explored benefits for learners, educators, and employers, as well as several case studies. The program continued with an examination of different micro-credential course models, followed by evaluations of the pages project’s online course on cross-media journalism and the Erasmus+-funded CLIP project on visual media literacy.

On day 2 participants focused on hands-on course design, worked on organizing materials from WP3, defining learning outcomes and course structure, and developing engaging learning activities. The final sessions covered selecting digital tools, building the course, and running a mini iteration exercise to test and improve course design.

The event offered valuable collaboration and capacity-building opportunities for universities across the region and marked an important step in advancing innovative, flexible learning pathways for students.
